Ross Carlino – Professional Guitarist
Ross Carlino is a 30 year old professional guitarist hailing from the South West of England. He began learning the guitar aged six after listening to and being inspired by other professionally renowned players such as Chuck Berry, Brian May, Lee Ritenour, Al Di Meola, Nile Rogers, Martin Taylor, Angus young and Steve Vai, as well as many others.
Over the years Ross has played in various bands/groups/ensembles/solo projects. These include; House bands, Originals bands, Big bands, Function groups, Acoustic duos/trios, Jazz ensembles, Theatre productions (show band), Cabarets (show band). Ross is a highly skilled musician and is able to play a very wide array of styles and genres of music.
Since graduating from university (BA Hons) studying music in 2016 and achieving excellent grades in instrument specific exams, Ross began his full time professional career as a guitar player. Ross has predominantly worked internationally as a guitar player onboard various cruise lines, the latest being Norwegian Cruise Lines as a Band Master – a managerial and performing position. This line of work has taken him all over the globe from mainland Europe across to Australasia, around the South American continent and the Caribbean, down to Antarctica and up to Greenland.
Ross can be seen to perform in an acoustic duo or trio or with his full band in and around London and other areas of the U.K. Since he has a large repertoire and a lot of experience he also undertakes a lot of dep work, covering for guitar players at short notice or recording guitar parts for producers.
Ross is extremely hard working, dedicated and with his diligent work ethic you can count on him to achieve an exceptionally high standard of work.
